These North Carolina students took their science lessons straight to the machines that use them.

At Camp Lejeune on May first, twenty twenty-six, students from Jacksonville and White Oak high schools explored robotics, aircraft, and communications equipment. They could look inside an aircraft, see a robot up close, and ask people who use the equipment how it works. The visit connected science, technology, engineering, and math with real tasks beyond the classroom.
