Carpe Diem News

Newsletter privacy

Choose a daily, weekly or monthly digest of our published good-news stories. We send a confirmation email before starting a new subscription or changing your edition.

Looking for our social publishing tool? Read the Carpe Diem Publisher privacy policy for connected-account information.

What we keep

We store your email address, chosen edition and a record of your confirmation. Signup requests also keep a hashed network identifier to limit abuse. Unconfirmed requests older than seven days are removed when we process new signup requests.

How we use it

We use this information to send the edition you request, manage your preferences and prevent unwanted signups. Resend processes and delivers our emails and manages unsubscribe and delivery status. Our website hosting provider stores the signup and consent records. We do not sell your email address.

Your choices

Every digest includes an unsubscribe link. You do not need an account or password. To change editions, submit the newsletter form again and confirm the new choice. To request access to or deletion of your information, email CarpeDiemNewsDesk@gmail.com.

We retain confirmed consent records while needed to provide the subscription and honor your preferences. Email delivery providers may retain unsubscribe or suppression records to prevent further unwanted messages.

Delivery

Daily editions are scheduled for 7 a.m. Pacific, weekly editions for Sundays at 7 a.m., and monthly editions for the first at 7 a.m. We skip an edition if there are no fresh stories to share.
