Our articles and short briefs bring together verified facts in an original structure, with links to the reporting and documents behind them. The length reflects the available evidence; we do not add invented detail to make a story longer.
Publication credit and AI assistance
Our original articles and briefs carry “Published by Carpe Diem News.” This identifies the publisher, not a named human reporter. AI helps research, synthesize, translate and narrate the material, and that assistance is disclosed on article pages. We do not invent human authors or claim interviews, eyewitness reporting or human editorial review that did not happen.
Bennett Blackwood is our AI presenter. His narration reads the on-site story and its attribution. He is not the original reporter. Translated editions are labeled as AI translations; the English edition and original source links remain available.
Sources readers can inspect
We seek primary evidence and additional reporting when available, preserve uncertainty, and attribute claims made by an organizer or interested party. Source credits include the publisher, article or document title, verified author when available, publication date and a direct link. Paragraph references connect substantive claims to their sources.
Several links do not necessarily mean independent confirmation. Reprints and stories based on the same announcement share one information source. A single-source brief is identified through its credits; we do not manufacture corroboration. Source titles remain in their original language.
Original text and reuse rights
We work from factual notes and write a fresh account. We do not reproduce a publisher’s full article, preserve its expressive structure through close paraphrase, or treat attribution as permission. Any quotation must be accurate, necessary, clearly marked and credited. There is no automatic safe word count or source-count rule.
Full-text features require documented permission, a suitable license or verified public-domain status for the intended use. Their original authors and reuse terms remain visible. Narration, translation, commercial distribution, photographs, graphics and video are checked separately. A text license does not automatically cover accompanying media. Illustrative images are labeled; an illustration is not evidence of the reported event.
We do not bypass paywalls or access restrictions. Embedding another website does not grant permission to copy or narrate it. Credit links do not imply a partnership or endorsement.
Our image policy: We first look for event video or photography with documented permission or reuse rights. When neither is suitable, we make an original AI editorial illustration from verified factual notes. Illustrations are clearly labeled and are not photographs of the event. We do not present invented people or scenes as documentary evidence. We check the provenance and use conditions of each item before publication.
Dates, changes and corrections
Original articles show the Carpe Diem News publication date; source credits retain each source’s own date. Existing briefs and licensed features show their source publication date. An edition’s “Last checked” time describes the latest completed source check, not when every underlying event occurred.
If a material error is identified, we correct or withdraw the affected story, add a dated explanation, and update any affected translations and narration. We do not continue serving an outdated recording as though it matches corrected text.
